ABS is a thermoplastic polymer with high strength, high rigidity, and easy to print. ABS is strong physical characteristic, thermal resistance, and chemical resistance which make it an ideal selection for equipment enclosure. Widely used in mechanical, automotive, electronic, textile, and construction industries. However, ABS tend to change yellowish after it is exposed to UV light or excessive heat, which causes photo-oxidation of polymers that breaks polymer chains and further causes the plastic to yellow and become brittle. In order to solve this issue, UV stabilizer can be apply on it.
